Kripalu Yoga is a unique way to integrate body, mind, and spirit through opening to the wisdom of your body.  The essence of Kripalu Yoga is learning to become more present and self aware in order to consciously access the intelligent life force of prana for your own healing, personal growth and spiritual evolution.  The postures are used as vehicles to access this deeper state of awareness and students are encouraged to practice with a compassionate, non-judgmental stance that creates space for the unfolding of this inner wisdom

Kripalu classes are 60 - 90 minutes long and range from gentle to moderate.  Each class begins with a centering and warm-up movement. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen and balance your body, and each class ends with a deep relaxation and a short closing meditation.

Gentle Level is suitable for all levels. This supportive class emphasizes body and breath awareness using a slow and gentle approach with modifications and props offered.  You are guided to move at your own pace, honoring your body’s needs in each moment.

Moderate Level is suitable for students with prior yoga experience. This class explores breath and postures in more depth and emphasizes inner focus and concentration. You learn to hold postures for longer periods of time while focusing your attention on inner sensations, emotions and subtle energy.
